To my readers

November 25, 2007

the purpose of me starting this blog was to share experience of what it is like being a christian. Since I seem to have quite a bit of fans I am asking all of my readers for ideas on what to write about. What would my readers like to see me write about?

I usualy am very good on writting about certain subjects and where to find it in the bible.

I could really use my readers support with this.

Thanks,

Eric

A Theory of mine on the Bible

May 24, 2007

I came across a slogan for deciphering the bible as I was reading it:

The New Testament is in the Old Testament concealed, but the Old Testament is in the New Testament revealed.

So if I were to make this a word problem:

New Testament > Old Testament > New Testament

well now take that word problem and factor it:

2 New Testament > or = Old Testament

another way you could factor it is:

NT x OT x NT which in my algebraic synopsis concludes to N(^2)OT(^3)

In a wordy way it could be NT x OT which would be called the question x NT which would be the answer….

therefore that would state NT x OT = question and question x NT = answer.

Going back to the word problem : New Testament > Old Testament > New Testament….NT is greater than the OT which the NT and OT is greater the the second NT.

NT > OT

absolutely >

NT

But then you could say it could be reversed…but if its reversed you get the same problems.

New Testament 1 is the problem

Old Testament is the outcome of the problem

NT > or x OT is the question

the question (NT > or x OT > or x NT) becomes the answer.

If someone out there is getting the hint of what im feeling from this through the Holy Spirit please leave a comment or email me. Feel free to play with this equation. I am going to do some testing on it to see if it plays out to be true.

How I Precieved Perception

May 23, 2007

From Wikipedia

All my sources start and derive mostly from wikipedia

“In psychology and the cognitive sciences, perception is the process of acquiring, interpreting, selecting, and organizing sensory information.”

So to start off Perception is the ability of gaining, stabilizing, working with, choosing, and deciphering information or description based on how your 5 or 6 senses get information from the environment we call life.

“The word perception comes from the Latin perception-, percepio, , meaning “receiving, collecting, action of taking possession, apprehension with the mind or senses.” “

In a restatement it is just what I described above. It is how the person comes to realization of what they sensed in their own mind.

Methods of studying perception range from essentially biological or physiologicalpsychological approaches through the philosophy of mind and in empiricist epistemology, such as that of David Hume, John Locke, George Berkeley, or as in Merleau Ponty‘s affirmation of perception as the basis of all science and knowledge.”

So the key into working out all the little ends of Perception is that you must have some sort of biological knowledge or background meaning you must know somewhat about how processes of the body work, and a physiological background which is the study in what I describe as how the biological processes work in order to understand the deeper parts of it.

“History of the study of perception”

“Perception is one of the oldest fields within scientific psychology, and there are correspondingly many theories about its underlying processes”

So it is one of the most talked about and strongest parts of psychology that is the most debated by many theories that are still around today.

“The oldest quantitative law in psychology is the Weber-Fechner law, which quantifies the relationship between the intensity of physical stimuli and their perceptual effects.”

“It was the study of perception that gave rise to the Gestalt school of psychology, with its emphasis on holistic approach. . “
