Christian Zionism

May 16, 2007

From Wikipedia

“Christian Zionism is a belief among some Christians that the return of the Jews to the Holy Land, and the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, is in accordance with Biblical prophecy. This belief is primarily, though not exclusively, associated with Christian Dispensationalism, mainly in English-speaking countries outside Europe.”

Yes this is true. However most do not understand the Biblical prophecies unless they actually are willing to take the chance to read the bible. If you take the time to actually read just the Gospel of the Bible you will understand the spiritual phenomenon you will receive just by glancing over 20-30 minutes of reading. However most of the population in the world feel pressured or that Christians (Especially Evangelicals) force there beliefs and restitution on others. Israel is referred to as the “Holy Land” because most of the biblical documentation and scriptures and stories where recorded and experienced in that exact area. The main point someone should look at is that Israel contains the Holy City Jerusalem which is believed by Christians as well as Jews to be the forth coming city where the kingdom of God will descend down onto earth after the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ. However do not let this confuse you with what you might think that this is the anti-Christ. Believe me, If you read scripture you will fully understand the left and the right (the Light and the Dark). It mostly has to do with the Holy Spirit or the spirit of God or some believe God and Jesus Christ, also as others believe it to be a source of spirit energy and vibrations that create souls. Souls would be the spirit that resides inside of you.

“Christian Zionism, as a specifically theological belief, does not necessarily entail sympathy for the Jews as a nation or for Judaism as a religion. Since the biblical text is filled with references to God’s chosen people, it is common for Christian Zionists to emphasize the Jewish roots of Christianity, and even to promote Jewish practices and Hebrew terminology as part of their own practice; however, Christian Zionists commonly believe that to fulfill prophecy, a significant number of Jews will accept Jesus as their Messiah, and that in the last days, such Messianic Jews will practice a thoroughly Hebraic form of Christianity.”

I am going to have to disagree with that statement. It is an opinion as well as what I write is an opinion also. Christian Zionism is an Ideological belief. It was established to form a Jewish Homeland. Due to the Holocaust during World War, 2 most Jewish descendants, or the long term family blood lines of Israelites and Levites (One coming from the tribe of Judah and the other from the tribe of Levi) were scattered all across the eastern part of the world. The Jewish population was significantly decreased and to this day it shows. On the notion of sympathy, I believe denominations and ministries of Christian Zionism all have there own different view points. The Bible is filled with references to the Jews as being the chosen people. However due to different denominations of Christianity the way that the scripture is perceived varies. In order to fulfill the prophecy of the book of Revelations, as well as other books of the Bible (Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah) the Jewish population will accept Jesus Christ as their savior and Lord. It is then believed that there will be a intersection or combination of a Christian approach of Judaism. This is already so. Example: Judao-Christians. If you know the basics of the Bible you will notice that there is an Old and New Testament. The Old Testament is considered to be the Law Of God. The New Testament is considered to be in most perspectives, The Era of Jesus Christ, which is still so to this very day.

Many Christian Zionists believe that the people of Israel remain part of the chosen people of God, along with the ingrafted (based on Romans 11:17-24, Holy Bible) Gentile Christians. This has the added effect of turning Christian Zionists into supporters of Jewish Zionism. “

The people of Israel, in which I interpret as the Jews, are most likely the Chosen people of Jesus and God. In that statement you can think of it as Jesus relating to Christians and God referring to Judaism…but as most bible scholars know God and Jesus go hand in hand. If you look at the Star of David closely you will see two triangles intersect facing each other coming from opposite directions into forming a six sided star. The two triangles combine…as claimed the Jews and the Christians must combine.

In summary of this basic part of my views on Christian Zionism, the point I’m trying to get across is that the prophecy of the New and Old Testament from the Bible and Tanach are reality. You will see these things starting to become a reality in the next few years. In a post I will make sometime in the future I will go into Biblical Prophecy as it was shown to me and explain it’s importance to Israel and Christian Zionism.
